Consult with your health practitioner before beginning a yoga practice. Bring your own yoga mat and water. Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement. Fee free to bring your yoga props (blocks, belt, bolster, blankets) if you have them and if you wish.
Please print, review, and execute/date the attached “Release and Waiver of Liability” and bring it with you to your first class.
About the Instructor:
Dawn, in 2007, found her way to an Iyengar yoga class due to an injury that had not responded to years of chiropractic intervention. With her consistent yoga practice, she began to notice a shift not only physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. That first step back in 2007 changed the course of her life. Since then, Dawn has practiced a variety of styles of asana including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa flow, and she studies and practices the eight limbs of yoga. She oftentimes incorporates pranayama (regulation of the breath), meditation and chanting into her asana classes. Dawn enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience to guide others along their yoga journey.
Dawn is an RYT 200, and a RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher), and is American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Certified.
